Purpose

To clearly define the implementation of KidHub’s authorized pickup list and how to modify it for your child.

Policy

Children may only be signed in or out by individuals listed on their authorized pick-up list. Parents/guardians may update this list at any time through Kindertales, with a minimum of one day’s notice.

In limited circumstances, and at the discretion of the Program Director, a parent/guardian may give verbal or written permission for someone not on the list to pick up their child. Additional identity verification may be required in these cases to ensure the child’s safety.

Procedure

To Modify your Child’s Authorized Pickup List

  1. Log into the Kindertales web app
  2. In the sidebar, click My Child
  3. On the Profile tab scroll down to the Authorized to Pick-Up/Drop-Off section and click the pencil icon.
  4. Use the form to add up to four additional people that are authorized to pick up your child.
