Purpose

To clearly explain KidHub’s medical procedures in the event of a child getting injured.

Policy

In the event of an injury sustained by a child while at KidHub, teachers will assess the extent of the injuries and treat them appropriately using the most up-to-date First-aid techniques. All KidHub teachers are required to have up-to-date First-aid certification.

<aside> ❗ In the event of an injury that requires emergency medical intervention and where we are not able to get in touch with the child’s parents, KidHub teachers will act on behalf of the parents in obtaining or authorizing emergency medical treatment for that child. Any treatment administered would be on the advice of a qualified medical professional.
