Policy

Pickup Location

Pickup location will be at the KidHub centre unless otherwise notified. When the weather is nice we may take the children to one of the local parks to play outside. In such a case, we will post a status on our private Facebook Groups (see Communication & Parental Involvement for links) indicating where we will be and leave a sign with a map on the door to the centre. Anyone picking up a child will be required to come into the centre (or find a teacher at the park) to sign the child out before they are able to pick them up.

Late Pickup

Pickup time is no later than the program closing time (see Our Centres for our operating times) unless otherwise notified by KidHub management. Arrangements can be made with the KidHub management team in advance for extenuating circumstances. If no such arrangements have been made, KidHub will enforce a late pickup fee. See Pricing & Fees for details.

In the event that a child has not been picked up by closing time we will make every attempt to contact the parents, emergency contacts, or members of the child's authorized pickup list in order to have the child picked up. If we are unable to get in touch with anyone to come pick up the child after 30 minutes past our closing time, we will inform Child & Family Services and arrange to have the child transferred into their custody. We sincerely hope that this never has to happen and we greatly appreciate the understanding and cooperation of all parents in this matter.
